From the keyboard of Lee Schearer,

"Giving To those Less Fortunate"

First, I thank each and everyone who were able and willing to take an hour out of their business day to volunteer with the Food Drive this past Friday. The total amount of cash donated is $1,108.00 I hope to have more details regarding the amount of food donated and the total number of equivalent meal-servings by this Wednesday. Kudos' to all that volunteered, a job well done.

"Becoming Well Informed"

As business owners each of us has a responsibility to our clients to be informed as to our business practices. Without such knowledge, how can we offer our clients the best advice and our experience, in our chosen fields of endeavor. That responsibility extends also, to ourselves. We all take pride in associating with fellow entrepreneur's and learning from their experiences in an effort to expand our knowledge of how best to run our business, as we all want to be successful.

When I first started in the real estate business my Father told me "it isn't how much you make, it's how much you keep". In that vane of thought, I want to remind you that our elected officials, Congressmen and Women and our state Senators are, right now, debating the "Health-Care" Bill. This Bill is the most expensive Bill ever introduced and offers the most government intrusion into our business and personal lives ever. The final language of this Bill will have a direct effect on all of our business's. It is each and everyone's responsibility to become as informed as you can about this Health-Care Bill. Regardless of where you stand politically, please become informed. Please let your elected officials know your opinion on this matter, as its passage will effect your financial future and that of your children and future generations, This Bill will have a direct influence on "how much you keep".

I hope to see you this Wednesday morning with a smile on your face, a song on your mind and a yearning to become the best at what you do.

Respectfully,

Lee Schearer
