From the keyboard of Lee Schearer,
"New Year-New Beginnings"
2009 is soon to be a memory, most would say a bad memory. However, as an eternal optimist, I try to step back from such events and take a look at what positive lessons can we learn from the year 2009. Such questions arise in my mind as, what went wrong, how can we learn from it and what plan of action can we employ to make sure that it doesn't happen again?
Now that 2009 is soon over, we need to "get over it". We need to re-energize ourselves and re-dedicate our lives to the things that matter most, our families, our friends and our religious convictions. Together, as a community of like minded people, we can make a difference. We can, by supporting each other, make 2010 a great and prosperous year.
I look forward, with great anticipation, to the positive events of 2010. I believe that I can speak for each member of the Chapel Hill Leads Group when I say that, I look forward to sharing your success's, and will support you when times are tough. Together we can achieve anything.
The time is now, this is the place and we are the ones who will make 2010 a great year.
I look forward to seeing you this Wednesday morning, our last meeting
in 2009, with a smile on your face, a song in your heart and gratitude for the opportunities that lie ahead in this great home of ours, America.
Respectfully,
Lee Schearer

2010 -
New Year's Resolutions
Every successful business reviews their operations from the previous year(s) and tries to improve upon their past performance. As you prepare to close the books on 2009, take this time to reflect upon this past year’s fiscal performance, where you did well, and where you need to improve. Some possible resolutions for your consideration:
- Resolve to follow-up with each client within 30 days of a
project completion to make verify their satisfaction with the
product or service purchased or the work performed.
- Why was it successful?
- Why did it fail?
- Resolve to invoice for my product or services in a timely
manner.
- Resolve to verify the product or service requirements with the
customer the sale or the project commencement.
- Resolve to backup (protect) your client / employee / business
data.
- Do not forget the CMOS battery in your computer when
replacing the smoke alarm batteries.
- Resolve to review current marketing and advertising plans
against business objectives for 2010.
- Resolve to continue my support of the Chapel Hill Leads Group in
2010.
