Mastermind Session for the Holidays

Dr Barnsley Brown will lead an engaging discussion / Mastermind session on how to wow your customers and increase holiday sales. This is not a presentation!

Come prepared to share 2 or 3 of your best holiday promotion ideas and holiday marketing tips.

See you there.

More importantly, Bring plenty of Business Cards and be ready to network!

If you missed last Wednesday's meeting ...

Orlando P Metcalf III - TAI Groupe, LLC

Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights, Oh My!

Your fantastic idea for that breakout product or under recognized service market is stolen from you because of a simple omission. Should I copyright my trademark? Is my business name a trademark, or domain name? Why did I have to surrender my domain name!?

When starting a business, often overlooked are the various mechanisms and agencies necessary to secure and maintain your business identity. Why do I have to register my company in every state in which I do business?

After this presentation, you will be able to answer the question; " Can I patent the trademark on my copyright?"

See you there.

More importantly, Bring plenty of Business Cards and be ready to network!

"Thanksgiving 2018"

As I sit here tonight thinking about the traditional Thanksgiving holiday, my thoughts remind me of what I personally am thankful for. Like most of you, we think about our families, our health, our success and prosperity and of course the relationships that have come about from membership in the Chapel Hill Leads Group.

When this group first started with about 5 or 6 of us, the purpose was to form a venue that offered a unique business and referral model, unlike any other. One that was based first upon getting to know the individual so that we could feel comfortable in referring his/her business to our clients and customers. In a word, that relationship is based upon "Trust". To my joy and delight, as I never imagined, the group has grown to what we see today, and one that has witnessed the birth of 13 other Leads Groups throughout the Triangle and Triad region.

I, personally am so thankful for having the opportunity to be a part of this ongoing experience of seeing just how far personal relationship building can go towards both personal success and benefits to our respective communities.

I invite you to attend this Wednesday morning with a smile on your face, a song on your mind and thankfulness for the opportunity to share your life and your dreams with your fellow members of the Chapel Hill Leads Group.

Attention CHLG Members - The Chapel Hill Leads Group's goal is to raise 100+ boxes of cereal a month. If everyone brought one box of cereal to two meetings this month, the Chapel Hill Leads Group would easily exceed the 100 boxes of cereal goal.
