Memorial Day originally honored military personnel who died in the Civil War (1861-1865). The holiday now honors those who died in any war while serving with the United States. It is also called Decoration Day.
As we honor this memorial Day, 2020, I trust that you take time to really consider what this day means, especially if you are a parent who is “home-schooling” due to the COVID 19 virus limitations, imposed by our state government. Remember, history is lost on those who choose not to remember it!
I invite you to join the Chapel Hill Leads Group this and every Wednesday, either by participation via our current ZOOM meetings hosted by Sharon Hill or when we can meet again in person, which I hope will be very soon. Please stay connected through our web-site at www.chapelhillleads.com and email messages which will be sent to you.
